Since the beginning of 2016, Premium Logistics in Frankfurt has been operating as a fully-owned subsidiary of the KDI Group Japan under the name „KDI Premium Logistics GmbH“. With the merger the directors bundle the intercultural competences of the company. „Now, we have an enormous cultural competence in Chinese and Japanese markets and for this we make use of German, Japanese and Chinese speaking employees“, states the managing director Sebastian Schneider. Therefore, the KDI Premium Logistics GmbH goes an essential step further to expand its network in the emerging global markets. By consolidating their efforts, the KDI Premium Logistics GmbH would now like to be at their customer’s disposal, although the usual communication channels for the established customers are not changed in any way. Fumitake Kikuchi, chairman of the board in Japan, is convinced by the merger: „We take this step in order to position ourselves more broadly in trading and to use resulting synergies. By our intercultural competences we can even do better in satisfying our world-wide customers.“ The operative managers, Oliver Kleebach (sea freight), Yuki Omura (Trade Lane Japan), Lia Jiu (Trade Lane China) and Sebastian Scholl (air freight) are looking forward to working together with the international offices.

The KDI Premium Logistics GmbH operates and cooperates in more than 100 countries with long-term and reliable networking partners in the air and sea freight sector. The company has its own organizations in the Asian region, especially in China and Japan.
The KDI Premium Logistics GmbH sees its core business in transport and the supply chain, and also in the transport of dangerous goods and sea freight – right through to the consultancy on customs clearance. In addition, the company is at the disposal of its around 500 customers with intercultural competence at all company locations. With a high degree of passion, the KDI Premium Logistics GmbH has the goal to transport goods safely and quickly from A to B.
